•Non-return flapA non-return flap is supplied with every appliance and prevents the backflow of cold and/or warm outside air with vented mode ventilation hoods. This component is installed in the exhaust socket above the motor in your ventilation hood and prevents air from flowing back through the vented ducting when the appliance is not in use. |

•Recirculation deflectorThe diectional unit is fitted at the top of the ventilation hood tower and directs the air back into the kitchen through the grilles in the tower. A special feature of the Miele directional unit for island ventilation hoods is that air is expelled from all four sides. This lowers the air flow velocity and in so doing reduces noise levels. |
